My Little Mascara Club is seeking a collaborative E-commerce Finance Manager who will drive the business towards reaching goals while ensuring high reward low risk situations. We are looking for someone who is not only comfortable with analyzing and gathering data but then leverage the data to tell the story in a clear concise way while providing strategic direction for the future.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Be ready to:
Responsible for analyzing and providing insight on key performance metrics, collaborating to optimize revenue, supporting initiatives and managing costs, modelling return on proposed investments, revenue/cost forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
Complete monthly accounting and reconciliations across all accounts
Prepare various accounting reports and details for both quarterly and annual audit
Manage continuous risk and opportunity view of business outside of routine planning practices
Analyze data streams to determine when and where finances can shift to maximize ROI
Look at past data and seasonal sales to determine what future forecasting might look like, this will help with inventory control and personnel management
Monitor budget spend to ensure predicted outcomes are measuring as predicted, quickly pivoting when marketing channels are underperforming or not meeting expectations
Assist in the generation of and analyze all reports including: product sales, web traffic, where customers are dropping off, and purchasing trends then leverage that data to tell a complete story and develop future business opportunities
Stay informed of current market trends in the direct-to-consumer space to help forecast the appropriate budget and guide budget allocation analyses

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
5+ years progressive financial experience (especially if in ecommerce and/or a company with inventory), with proven record of taking the initiative, driving processes end-to-end and executing continuous improvement
5+ years experience with accounting software tools, ideally QuickBooks
Knowledge of and experience with C-Corp accounting practices + tax rules
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with financial and cost analysis
Technical knowledge and understanding of financial statements
Solid tactical management skills, business acumen, and organizational savvy
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to build the business through improved analysis, trending, and reporting
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
Able to work under limited supervision, deadlines, and pressure
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Understand how to navigate databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
